About Girl's Locker Room at HCCIA
Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena needs to expand in order to better serve our community and visitors. At the moment there is no space at HCCIA for girls and women to change and store their belongings while participating in activities besides the women’s bathroom. As the Girl’s Hockey League along with figure skating and other ice programs continue to grow, the participants need a locker room to get ready.
This additional locker room will give HCCIA the opportunity to host more hockey tournaments including women’s hockey tournaments and bigger men’s tournaments. Bringing in bigger tournaments will increase sports tourism. This benefits Columbus’s economy through hotel stays, restaurant visits, and more.
Our goal is to break ground on this project in June 2024. In order for this to happen we need your help to raise $400,000 to construct this locker room. You can support this project by sponsoring the Locker Room Project, and sharing this project with your community.
Now is your chance for your organization to be part of the HCCIA community and support the women in our community through the Girl's Locker Room Project Sponsorship Opportunities:
